About BCW

BCW, the Belgian Independent Cleanroom Association, has been a leading non-profit organisation in the field of Contamination Control and Cleanroom Technology since its foundation in 1989.

Our mission is to develop, promote and share knowledge and expertise in the design, construction, operation and management of cleanrooms and controlled environments, in accordance with national and international standards, regulations and best practices.

BCW brings together professionals from a wide range of industries where contamination control and controlled environments are essential, including life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biotechnology, electronics and high-tech manufacturing.

Through conferences, seminars, training initiatives and networking activities, BCW provides a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development and collaboration, supporting the continuous advancement of cleanroom practices and contamination control across these industries.

BCW is a member of international umbrella organisations and actively participates in international working groups and standards committees.

We contribute, among others, to the work of ISO/TC 209, the technical committee responsible for the development and maintenance of the ISO 14644 series of standards for cleanrooms and associated controlled environments.
